CAEMI Building

Rio de Janeiro 1983/1985

caemi03.jpg (33808 bytes)It represents the most complete form or working of the office, starting with the selection of the site, the projects development, architecture and interiors, and the whole coordination of the operation, on a very ambitious and fulfilled proposal of having it ready for occupation in 24 months, 35 000 sq. m of office spaces, comprehending 13 floors and one basement.










Rio Branco 1

Rio de Janeiro 1983/1990

rb103.jpg (10232 bytes)Built by João Fortes Engenharia, one of the largest Brazilian contractors, the Rio Branco 1 building is one of the best examples of post-modern architecture in the city. With the main purpose of serving as a place for the most modern office spaces, it is also a place for restaurants and also a businessmen club. The building has started a process of renovation of the ancient port area of Praça Mauá. Its large clock has become a reference point of the town.

 

 



Granja Rezende

Uberlândia, MG, 1990-93

rezende03.jpg (17088 bytes)Localized in Uberlândia, on a site of 250 000 sq.meters, contains a program of a headquarters building, with 10 000 sq.meters, and a series of industrial buildings, with 25.000 sq.meters. Both have a similar construction scheme: concrete pillars, steel structure with great spans. A plastic variation was obtained painting in different primary colors the apparent steel structure.





Grupo Ipiranga

Porto Alegre, 1988-95

ipipoa04.jpg (48258 bytes)Place on the side of Guaiba River, with magnificent views of the traditional skyline of the city, the project contains 15 floors of office space for the companies of the Ipiranga Group in Porto Alegre. The building was conceived to be built in two phases, the first one just finished, with more than 15.000 sq.meters. Escritorios Musa also conceived the Interiors Architecture project.

 

 

 


Grupo Monteiro Aranha

Rio de Janeiro, 1972-74

Main headquarters of Grupo Monteiro Aranha, located on Ladeira da Gloria, with very beautiful views over the Baia da Guanabara and Parque do Flamengo, the building also take his place in the landscape, being easily observed by those who pass on the Aterro do Flamengo. It profited from an existing structure, being the result of a total internal and external remodeling. It has all the modern facilities of an up to date office building, such as fast elevators, central air condition and flexible lay out. On the exterior, the treatment is sober and delicate, with simple materials as plaster type Fulget, aluminum and glass in bronze color. The windows finish on the top on a certain kind of bow window, main characteristic of the building, which gives him the condition to be considered one of the best buildings in Rio.
